Sebastien Boucher, Steve Brown and Danny Grauer all homered as the Ottawa Champions pounded the New Jersey Jackals 10-4 yesterday to complete a sweep of their four-game series.

Phillippe Aumont (W, 3-1) made his first start since being named to the Can-Am League All-Star Team and picked up his third win of the season, allowing four runs on 10 hits in seven innings with six strikeouts and two walks.

With New Jersey leading 1-0 in the fourth, Brown gave the Champions the lead with a two-run home run, but New Jersey responded in the fifth with three more runs of their own.

A two-run homer by Boucher in the sixth tied things up, and then Ottawa went ahead for good when they tallied four runs in the seventh inning.

Zach Arneson (L, 0-2) took the loss in relief for the Jackals, allowing three runs in one inning of work.

The Champions return home on Tuesday for a three-game series against the Sussex County Miners at RCGT Park. Austin Chrismon (5-3, 7.43 ERA) gets the ball in the opener for Ottawa. Game time is 7:05 pm.

In other Can-Am League action, Quebec nipped Trois-Rivieres 8-7 and Rockland bounced the Miners 6-2.
