Yurisbel Gracial

Pointstreak, the official statistician of the Can-Am League, has announced that Quebec Capitales INF Yurisbel Gracial has been named this week’s Pointstreak Player of the Week for the week ending June 18.
Gracial, riding an eight-game hitting streak, becomes the second straight Quebec player to win the award, following INF Yordan Manduley, who won last week. This week, Gracial hit .500 (11-for-22) with two doubles, two home runs and nine RBI.
The Matanzas, Cuba, native began his week on Monday in the opener of a four-game series against the Cuban National Team. He was 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored as Quebec won 10-2. The Capitales won again on Tuesday by a 9-4 score, and Gracial played a key role with a 2-for-5 night that included two RBI and two runs scored. On Wednesday, Gracial was 3-for-4 and fell a triple shy of the cycle, as he notched a double, home run, four RBI and three runs scored. Quebec won 11-3. The Capitales swept the series with a 5-1 win Thursday, and Gracial was 1-for-4 with a double, a walk, and a run scored. After a rainout Friday, Gracial concluded his week by playing in both ends of a Saturday doubleheader against the New Jersey Jackals. Despite a 13-3 loss in game one, Gracial was 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. Quebec bounced back in the nightcap, taking a 7-2 win. Gracial was 2-for-3 in the game, driving in a run and scoring another.
On the season, he is hitting .333 with seven doubles, three home runs and 24 RBI. 2017 marks his second season with Quebec. In 2016, Gracial hit .320 with 14 doubles, five triples, nine home runs and 58 RBI.
